Program 68325
The Network Infrastructure Certificate is part of the Associate in Science (AS) in Network Systems Engineering Technology degree program. The curriculum consists of a sequence of twenty-one credits of college-level courses that are embedded as part of the AS degree. This certificate program prepares the student for employment. Completion of the requirements provides the individual with the skills necessary to earn industry certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO 1: Apply design principles and concepts in computing and networking environments.
PLO 2: Demonstrate router configuration skills.
PLO 3: Design, configure, deploy, and manage the Microsoft Server Operating System and Active Directory infrastructure.
PLO 4: Install, configure, and manage virtualization platforms using applicable concepts.
PLO 5: Demonstrate proper installation of the Microsoft Desktop Operating System.
PLO 6: Demonstrate proper installation of the Linux Desktop Operating System.
PLO 7: Demonstrate proficiency in securing network infrastructures and protecting data.
