This credit certificate provides another pathway for students to pursue a degree in Business. This program enables the participant to develop proficiency in the planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing processes of a business. Emphasis is placed on the various management theories, skills for managing economic resources, and effective decision making. This certificate is beneficial for those interested in managing small business enterprises.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon sucessful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO 1: Evaluate the financial results of a firm’s operations and choose appropriate actions or strategies based on information compiled from basic journal entries, posting, and summarizing of financial data.
PLO 2: Prepare and use financial information about business organizations to support decision making.
PLO 3: Integrate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database applications in conjunction with Internet research to construct business projects.
PLO 4: Integrate proper business terminology and professional practices within oral and written communication.
