CCJ 1020 - Introduction to Criminal Justice 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisites: Placement at the college level or completion of required developmental education courses in reading and writing AA Elective: Yes This introductory course studies the historical and philosophical background of the Criminal Justice System. The curriculum includes an examination of the relationships among the police department, the courts, and the correctional system.
This course is also offered in Honors format. For Honors Program sections, Honors Program permission is required.
