EVR 1001C - Environmental Science 3 hours Lecture, 2 hours Lab, 4 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisites: Placement at the college level or completion of all required developmental education courses AA Elective: No This course provides students with an opportunity to investigate environmental issues through classroom and laboratory activities, background research, and classroom discussion. The course focuses on the general scientific principles of biology, ecology, and geology in describing the environment and how humans interact with and affect the environment. This course may include field trips.
This course is also offered in Honors format. For Honors Program sections, Honors Program permission is required.
