MAN 2300 - Introduction to Human Resource Management 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisites: Placement at the college level or completion of required developmental education courses in reading and writing AA Elective: Yes This course examines the Human Resource department’s role in a business organization as it relates to the staffing function of management. Attention is given to the Human Resource department’s responsibilities relating to recruiting, hiring and orientation, as well as employee development, appraisal, training, compensation, and career development.
