MSL 1001 - Leadership and Personal Development 1 hour Lecture, 1 credit Lower-Division College Credit Corequisites: Cadets contracted in the ROTC Program must also take the Leadership Lab (one credit hour) in conjunction with this course. AA Elective: Yes This course introduces students to the personal challenges and competencies that are critical for effective leadership. Students relate life skills such as critical thinking, goal setting, time management, physical fitness, and stress management to leadership, officership, and the Army profession. The course focuses on Army leadership dimensions while gaining a big-picture understanding of ROTC, its purpose in the Army, and its advantages for the student.
